About the OAsis


The OAsis is the central office for the San Diego County Intergroup. Numerious fellowship meetings are held at the OAsis on a daily basis (see the meeting directory) as well as monthly intergroup meetings, intergroup board meetings, and other special events. For the convenience of our fellowship, OA literature may be purchased at the OAsis on an appointment basis. At the present time, the OAsis is staffed by volunteers and is not always open during normal (8 AM to 5 PM) business hours. Should you have business at the OAsis, it is always best to call ahead.

Off of Friars Road just a few blocks from the "old" OAsis on Fairmont Blvd.


To reach the OAsis from north county

From I-5 or I-805 south, take CA-52 East. Take the Kearny Villa Road/Junction 1-15 exit and merge onto I-15 South. From inland north county, take I-15 South. Take the Friars Road exit toward the stadium, keeping left at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto Friars Road. Turn Right onto Riverdale Street.

To reach the OAsis from east county

From I-8 west, take the exit towards Mission Gorge Road/Fairmount Ave. Turn right on Fairmount Ave. Fairmount Ave becomes Sheridan Lane. Turn left onto Riverdale Street.

To reach the OAsis from the south bay

From I-5 or I-805 north, take I-15 north towards Riverside. Take the Friars Road east exit and merge onto Friers Road. Turn right onto Riverdale.

To reach the OAsis from the beach communities, take I-8 east. Take the I-15 North/Fairmount Ave exit and keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto I-15 north. Take the Friars Road east exit and merge onto Friers Road. Turn right onto Riverdale.
